About Viva

Viva La Renovation:

Is a unique combination of young people (age 18 – 33) from various creative environments, such as actors, academics, architects, artists, dancers, dreamers, filmmakers, photographers, KaosPilots, makers and musicians. For almost 4 years Viva La Renovation, has been encouraging Danish people to take action and respect the nature, due to the overwhelming climate changes. At music festivals and other cultural events it has been Viva La Renovation’s primary goal to motivate people to clean up after themselves.

Viva La Renovation doesn’t preach and teach you what to do.

With an artistic, colorful and joyful approach Viva just wants to inspire you to make a difference

- here and now.

At the Roskilde Festival 2008 Viva La Renovation created an interactive garbage campaign called “LESS TRASH MORE MUSIC”. The aim was to motivate the festival guests to take responsibility and help reduce the amount of garbage, using the garbage bins and clean up after themselves. With great success “LESS TRASH MORE MUSIC” helped reducing the amount of garbage with 50 % compared to the year before!!
